Nice article and so very true. It's a great camera, I bought a used one. As it does only one thing (take photographs) with no fanfare it makes the experience of photography...well....like photography. Nothing more irritating than using a camera that feels like a video game about to break out.

I feel BAD that you have no responses on your blog post here so that's the only reason I'm responding. Okay. I HAVE an M7 (and an M9) I just finished a full 17 week college b&w film processing and printing class in 6 weeks. I'm burnt but I'm thinking it would be smart to go buy my chemicals and just get started developing here at home. The scanner remains the big question mark. The V700s family seem very good but there's also this much cheaper dedicated film scanner that everyone raves does a fantastic job BUT only one frame at a time.

I'm happy to be freaking alive though, finally shooting Leica gear, and pondering these questions. Kind of blissful actually. Nice shots and appreciate the guidance.
